PNCA doesn't focus on the actual writing and instead looks at "intent". I feel like if a teacher "can see where you're coming from" they'll take that and not actually care if the writing speaks for itself. BLAH
Is it just me or are 70% of students terrible writers? During essay critiques that are set up for students to get feedback from one another, I'm reading things like "There is many similarities but also there is some differences between _____ and ______. Some of these kids are 22+ and are still writing like 5th graders!
Yuppers. The little shaggy faced guy.
Wayne Bund gave me a ticket to smoke more weed
Oh my gosh yes. The Giving Tuesday thing. I appreciate that it is for student scholarships, but damn. I just left there with like ten years worth of debt. Go ask someone else!
re: artist block- sit down and write questions, questions leading into more questions, like conscious streaming of questions, about anything at all, DON'T try to answer any of them, just write questions, a page or two of questions. That usually does it for me, it keeps things expansive, instead of closed up with answers
Who am I ?
Haha, are you talking about the nude model guy with the dark curly hair who winks at people when they're drawing him sometimes? ಠ_ಠ
Given its post-grad employment rates and the amount of debt most of us accrued for our mediocre education, I think it's kind of hilarious that PNCA is sincerely asking its recent grads to contribute to "Giving Tuesday"
Can we fire the little nude model guy? That dude is fucking creepy.
There needs to be a school-run juried show, every semester. Everyone's final projects are automatically submitted.
Re: Artistic Block. Is the artistic block coming from within you or from what's outside of you?
I can't register for classes because I can't pay for the classes I registered for last time. I owe like 1500. It feels like I am pushing around in mucous fluid. I got an automated letter in envelope printed saying something about it but i'm not sure. No one is saying anything really. So I won't say anything either. I just can't register and there's nothing to say.
I openly love the Thomas Kinkades
artistic blocks. what do you do?
